Side QUest '26

For the month of march fifty QR codes will be hidden around the building. Upon scanning the QR code youth will gain points. Some QR codes will have puzzles and side quests attached that will need to be completed before points are awarded.

Youth do not need to sign up to play, they can simply drop-in and start scanning codes to earn points. Once they do so they will automatically be added to the leaderboard.

Youth may form a guild with up to two other youth. To do so they will need to all fill out a form found at the front desk (All members must be present to form a guild). Once formed, guilds cannot be broken up, and youth may not leave a guild they have joined. However, there is a large advantage with joining a guild, as all points earned are pooled towards a guild total. If the guild holds the highest spot on the leaderboard by the end of the month, all members of that guild win.

Youth may also gain points by participating in, and being on the winning team of the icebreaker games we play before circle up each programming night.

Incorrectly submitting a QR code may deduct points from your score

​

Each youth can only scan each QR code once

​

If you fail a puzzle or quest, you are not allowed to try again

​

Each QR code has a unique identifier attached that will need to be entered to submit the QR code for points

​

Final prize for winning Youth(s) may be one shirt (long or short-sleeved), one hoodie, one beanie, or one sweater. If a guild wins, each member of the guild gets to pick their own prize.
