When Team Austin got together and began to create our identity and prepare a vision we looked to those on the frontline fighting for our communities, youth and families. We started not knowing much but knowing we were not going to re invent the wheel.
As we've grown our partners have turned into friends and proud Team Austin members. Each one advocating for unity, safety and opportunities to make a difference in individual's lives, young and old.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR YOU
To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
Leo clubs provide young people with an opportunity for development and contribution – individually and collectively – as responsible members of their local, national and international communities. Austin17House is proud to support and partner with the Leo's Club at Sanborn Regional High School and members of Kingston Lions Club.
The Southern Rockingham Coalition for Healthy Youth (SoRock)
Their vision is helping to promote, support, and sustain healthy choices for children, youth and families in our communities by actively working to reduce and prevent alcohol, marijuana, prescription and other drug misuse.
"We strengthen people and communities in New Hampshire by providing trusted knowledge, practical education and cooperative solutions"
UNH Cooperative Extension brings information and education into the communities of the Granite State to help make New Hampshire’s individuals, businesses, and communities more successful and its natural resources healthy and productive.
Austin17House has had the pleasure of working closely with Rick Alleva the Field Specialist of Youth & Families at the Cooperative Extension. Rick has tremendous experience and knowledge in mental health, mindfulness, youth empowerment and family engagement. In January of 2017 Rick helped our team brainstorm and create our first vision and mission statement.
