SEACOAST FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR ADULT FAMILY MEMBERS WITH A LOVED ONE AFFECTED BY SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER.

Our family group seeks to provide peer support for those whose loved one is experiencing Substance Use Disorder.

We do not offer professional advice, but rather share our experiences, wisdom, strength, resources, and, most importantly, hope.

We value the privacy and confidentiality of our members, and seek to provide a safe place where you are free to share your experiences without judgment, 

where you will receive empathy and where your feelings will be respected.

When? The second Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM

Youth Ministry

A faith-based youth group ran by Grace Ministries International, that focuses on helping youth find their identity in Christ, helps develop leadership and independence, while building relationship with God and their community.

When? Wednesday Nights 6-7PM

Where? In the study room at Austin17House!

FAMILY SUPPORT COUNSELING

Counselors are here to help you and your child navigate the personal, mental and educational challenges your family may face on a daily basis.

Friday evenings 630-730PM

​

Workshop Topics Include:

  • Talking about Mental Health

  • Communication between students and the school; school and the family

  • Does my child have ADHD? If so, what should I do? 

  • How can I help my child succeed in school and in social settings? 

  • Signs to look for when students get off track

  • Bullying and forging healthy relationships 

  • Independence information

  • Healthy Habits: Nutrition, Sleep and Exercise

  • Help with homework and school projects
